The Red Slaw is just tangy enough without overtaking the slow-cooked star of the show, the Pit Cooked BBQ, which is moist, smoky, and flavorful. The traditional-shaped Hush Puppies are phenomenal and provide a perfect palate-cleansing contrast between bites. You’ll want to save room for dessert; the Mammoth Banana Split is a thing of legends, and rightly so, as they started off in 1955 as The Dairy Center.
